Cookie policy

What cookies are and which ones we use
A cookie is a small file that your browser stores when you visit a website; the browser's "local storage" does something similar. On this website we only use the strictly necessary ones so that what you asked for works (signing in, keeping your cart, paying). That is why we do not show you a banner to accept them: the rules (art. 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE) exempt them from consent. We do not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies.
Cookies and storage we use
| Name | What it is for | Duration | Whose |
|---|---|---|---|
nuvo-studio-session | Identifies your visit: sign-in, chosen language, form messages and security. | Up to 2 hours of inactivity | First party |
XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms against forged submissions (CSRF). | Up to 2 hours | First party |
cart_token | Created on your first visit. Lets you find your shopping cart and wishlist again if you come back later without signing in. It only holds a random identifier, no personal data. | 60 days from your last activity (renewed whenever you change or open the cart) | First party |
remember_web_… | Only if you tick "Remember me" when signing in: keeps you signed in to your account on that device. | Up to 400 days, or until you sign out | First party |
nuvo-quote-draft (local storage) | Keeps the draft of the quote form in your browser so you do not lose it if you reload the page. It is not sent to any server. | Up to 7 days or until you send the quote | First party |
nuvo-cart-autoopen (local storage) | Remembers whether you prefer the cart to open when you add a product. | Until you delete it | First party |
| Stripe cookies | When you pay we send you to the payment page of Stripe, our payment provider; Stripe may use technical and fraud-prevention cookies on its own domain. | As set by Stripe | Third party (Stripe) |
Stripe's cookies are managed by Stripe and governed by its privacy policy; they only come into play if you reach the payment page. If you arrive from a link on another website, that website may use its own cookies, which we do not control.
How to delete or block cookies
You can view, block and delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all offer this in their privacy section). If you block the necessary ones, parts of the website will stop working: for example, your cart will not be kept and you will not be able to sign in or pay.
Because we only use necessary cookies, there is nothing to accept or withdraw. If we ever add an optional cookie (for example cookie-based measurement or marketing), we will ask for your permission before switching it on, with a notice where you can accept or reject it just as easily, and we will update this page.
